Episode 38 Are There Foods I can Eat or Drink To Increase Supply?
When it comes to breastfeeding, there is so much advice on what to do and what not to do. Especially about what the mother should be eating or drinking in postpartum.
There is a wide range of advice across countries and cultures, however there is no standard food that is proven to actually help with milk supply.
The only advice about food that you need is, if it is a food you like, eat it, if you enjoy it, you should have it. This is because the only factor that changes the physiology of the breastfeeding process are your hormones, and the happier you are, the more oxytocin you produce, and well you guessed it, more milk is produced.
A mother will do whatever she can to make sure her baby has a steady flow of milk supply, so on today’s episode we want to go over tips on what you can do if you are worried about milk supply and will help ensure a steady flow.
