LACTATION SERVICES
I know first hand the many challenges that come with meeting baby feeding goals. I have cried from pain and worry, and with A LOT of help, met my own breastfeeding goals. This is why I care so much about providing lactation support to others. It is not only my personal experiences that qualify me to provide support to you, but my extensive education and experience counseling hundreds of breastfeeding moms and chestfeeding and human milk queer and nonbinary members of the community as both a peer counselor and a professional. If I don’t know something, I’m not afraid to find the person who does, and to use my vast professional network to find the answers I need to get YOU and your baby the help you deserve.
When you choose to work with me, I view you as the expert when it comes to both your body and your baby. I come to the table with an extensive expertise of the physiology of human milk feeding and the emotional toll it can take on parents. When we combine our expertise, you can walk away from your appointments feeling a sense of reduced anxiety and improved sense of self-efficacy.
I can bill Humana, Aetna and United Health Care (and affiliates) directly.
I am happy to announce I am now working with The Lactation Network to provide stress free lactation consultations both in person and via Telehealth! “Lo at Quabbin Birth Services dramatically improved my nursing experience. I had been nursing my son for eighteen months with discomfort and a nipple that cracked often. I had reached out to other lactation consultants in the past but had no improvement. Lo gave me great advice that stopped the pain and cracking nipple while nursing. I only wish I had met her sooner!”
